September 2018

Date TBC

Cost: self-funded + registration and accomodation at my farm

El Camino de Santiago de Compostela
Catalonia, Spain

"I will be leaving my farm in Catalonia to cycle about 1000km from the Mediterranean coast to the Atlantic towards Santiago de Compostela. The exact route is never pre-determined as I have made a series of journeys in the past including Palestine and Africa. As an experienced cyclist I usually carry a guitar and take in the sites.

I am looking for companions of various abilities and the only requisite is a will to spend 3 weeks with me on the road traversing the north of Spain. There are (free) hostels specifically along the pilgrimage route or you might prefer to camp out like me with a hammock or tent.

Options include larger teams and roadside assistance. Likewise I would be interested in taking breaks and swimming at various intervals where rivers and lakes take me. Others may prefer to continue their holidays further south into Portugal. In my experience I usually achieve my journey with little money. Flights will need to be purchased though. There are a variety of budget airlines going to Reus or Barcelona.

For those who are interested this is a no-insurance, back-to-life experience. Participants will be welcomed to spend longer stays at my farm requiring registration and membership. For those interested send me an email at: South London Permaculture Or WhatsApp +44(0)753 223360"

Participants wanted."
